OFBOOTS.com is operated by EGA Footwear Distributors LLC. Payments placed through OFBOOTS are processed in accordance with the terms below.

Payment Methods

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. Depending on the payment methods available at checkout, customers may also use PayPal, Pay Later, Venmo, Amazon Pay, Google Pay, Apple Pay, and supported bank payment methods.

Card, Google Pay, Apple Pay, and supported bank payment transactions are processed through Stripe. PayPal, Pay Later, and Venmo transactions are processed through PayPal. Amazon Pay transactions are processed through Amazon Pay.

Payment authorization or processing occurs during checkout. The exact timing of a charge, authorization, or bank transfer may vary depending on the payment method selected and the policies of the applicable payment provider or financial institution.

Order Verification and Fraud Protection

All orders are subject to verification and fraud review. We reserve the right to delay, cancel, refuse, or hold an order if a transaction is flagged for potential fraud, unauthorized use, payment verification concerns, address discrepancies, or other order-security issues.

We may request additional information or verification before processing an order. Failure to provide requested verification may result in order cancellation. If payment has already been collected for an order that is canceled, the applicable amount will be refunded to the original payment method.

Store Credit

Store credit issued by OFBOOTS has an expiration date of one year from the date of issuance. Any unused store credit remaining after one year will expire and become void.

Declined Payments

If a card or other payment method is declined, the order will not be completed unless another payment method is successfully submitted. In some cases, a financial institution may place a temporary authorization hold on an account even though the transaction was declined or the order was not completed. The timing for removal of an authorization hold is determined by the applicable bank or payment provider.

A card may be declined for reasons including:

  • General decline: This may be caused by insufficient funds, a credit-limit issue, restrictions placed by the card issuer, or another issue determined by the issuing bank.
  • AVS mismatch: The billing address entered at checkout does not match the address on file with the card issuer.
  • Card security code mismatch: The CVV, CVC, or CID security code entered at checkout does not match the information expected by the card issuer.

If a payment is declined, contact the applicable bank, card issuer, or payment provider for additional information.

Prepaid Credit or Gift Cards

If you are using a Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or other supported prepaid credit or gift card, the card may need to be registered with the issuing bank before use. During checkout, the billing information entered should match the information registered with the card issuer.

If the billing information does not match, the transaction may be declined and the issuing bank may place a temporary authorization hold on the card. Questions regarding a declined prepaid card or authorization hold should be directed to the card issuer.

Payment Security

We do not store complete credit or debit card information on our servers. Payment information is transmitted directly to the applicable secure payment processor. Additional information regarding how we collect, use, and protect personal information is available in our Privacy Policy.

Refunds

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy and Shipping & Returns Policies. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method whenever applicable.
